A woman used a cooking pan to injure her sister's knee and then threatened to kill her, her dog and her male friend, officials said.

Anna L. Lawson struck her sister, Kelly Gardner, on the knee with a cooking pan three times  in an apartment at 808 Linden St., Bethlehem, at 6 p.m. Monday, officials said.

When Gardner tried to call police,  Lawson threatened to kill her, her dog and a male friend, Harvey Sacks, officials added.

Gardner had a bruise on her left knee when police arrived, officials said.

Lawson, 39, of 420 Hickory St., Bethlehem, was charged with making terroristic threats, assault and harassment and released on $7,500 unsecured bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. July 9.
