Arrest made in Salisbury Township vehicle thefts

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. -

Salisbury Police arrested a man attempting to break into cars early Monday morning at around 1:30 a.m.

Police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Mosser Drive after alert neighbors called the police about a male walking into yards and trying to gain entry to vehicles.

Robert Snyder was located on foot in the area and was subsequently arrested for several counts of breaking into vehicles, prowling and loitering at night time and receiving stolen property.

Upon investigation, it was noted that Snyder had committed thefts in South Whitehall Township as well. South Whitehall Township Police also assisted in the arrest.

Multiple stolen items were recovered.

Salisbury Police filed the charges and Snyder was taken to Lehigh County Prison.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 30th at 1:30 p.m.
