Sheridan Elementary School
ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Bed bugs have jumped to the classroom.

Bed bugs have been found in two classrooms at Sheridan Elementary School, 521 N. 2nd St., according to Allentown School District officials.

Sheridan's principal, Lisa Lesko, said they made an inspection in the school and will conduct another, if necessary, to see if there are bed bugs in additional areas.

Bed bugs are not a health threat but are a nuisance that leave an itchy bite mark, much like a mosquito, Lesko said.
