BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Crews responded to the scene of a gas leak at a UGI facility in Bethlehem Friday.

The propane leak was first reported around 11:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem propane terminal operated by UGI Energy Sevices.

According to officials, a valve was broken during routine maintence at the terminal.  The facility was shut down and it will remain closed until the valve can be repaired.

No injuries were reported and no homes were evacuated.

Officials shut down Route 412 between Shimersville Road and Interstate 78 while crews responded to the leak. The road was reopened around 1:15 p.m.
