Bethlehem Sausage Works has taken the next step in its construction process by receiving approval for indemnification at this Thursday’s Forks Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

At Forks’ previous Board of Supervisors meeting on September 19th the land development plan for Bethlehem Sausage Works was approved by the board and they have now unanimously voted to approve an indemnification agreement filed by the company.  By doing so they have taken on financial responsibility for the project, with construction set to begin in the near future.

Sausage Works is a family business run by Eric and Kenneth Mayer, who are brothers and co-owners of the company. The location of the site will be at Mort Drive and Kuebler Road in Easton. It is set to open sometime in June, according to a previous report by Forks’ Township Solicitor Karl Kline.
