BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

The same armed robber apparently hit two different convenience stores in Northampton County Thursday night.

About  9:20 p.m., Bethlehem Township police responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Hess Express, located at 3283 Easton Ave.

Police learned that only about 10 minutes later, the 7-Eleven at 2930 Linden St. in Bethlehem was robbed by the same suspect.

The two stores are less than 1.5 miles apart, no more than a five-minute drive.

The Hess Express clerk told police the robber came into the store, displayed a black handgun, pointed the weapon at the clerk and ordered her to “get the money”.

She proceeded to the cash register and gave the robber the entire cash drawer.

The male  fled the business on foot, in the direction of Bethlehem Self Storage on Santee Road.

The suspect was described as  being about five-and-a-half feet tall. He wore a black "North Face" fleece jacket and a black hoodie, khaki pants and a mask "of sorts" around his face.
