WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. -

Water customers in some areas of Northampton County can start using their water again without boiling it first.

A boil water advisory was issued Saturday for some Pennsylvania American Water customers in Washington Twp. after a water main break.

On Monday morning around 9:30, the boil water advisory was lifted.

Water company officials said acceptable bacteria test results were taken from samples collected on Saturday and Sunday.

This notice applies to customers in the Bangor and Ackermanville section.
