BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Break out the haggis, it's Celtic Classic time in Bethlehem.

The 26th annual event began in downtown Bethlehem on Friday. Highlights include the haggis bowl, the tartan parade and the National Highland Game Championships.

"We're the largest Celtic festival in North America," said Jayne Ann Recker, the executive director of the Celtic Cultural Alliance, which organizes the event. "We're getting calls from people in Canada, California, Florida, they come from everywhere whether they're following the bands, the athletes."

As many as 250,000 people have come out in the past, according to Recker.

"The U.S. National Highlands Games Championship is the only one of its kind in the world," said Recker.

Everything is free except food and drink you choose to purchase. The event wraps up on Sunday.
