An accident in Lehigh County caused quite a scare during the Friday lunch hour.
A car hopped a curve shortly after noon and slammed through the front wall of the Soumaya & Sons Bakery, 264 Fullerton Ave., in Whitehall Township.
The car came to rest with its front half inside the building, between the front door and a large window.
No one was injured, according to emergency dispatchers, but the building did suffer some significant structural damage when struck by the unidentified female driver.
The bakery kept serving customers after the accident. One side of the shop is a deli, the other is a grocery section. The deli section was full of customers, but luckily the grocery section, where the car went through, was not.
Officials on the scene did not provide any further information.
