SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. -

A multi-million dollar ambulance center is taking shape in Lehigh County.

On Wednesday, our cameras checked in on the progress of the new Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

It's being built at the intersection of Broadway and Parkway Road in South Whitehall Township. That's on the edge of the Lehigh County soccer fields.

In addition to the ambulance corps, it will also be home to the Lehigh County coroner's office and the Cetronia communications center.

The project is expected to cost about $8 million, with $1.7 million of that money coming from a state grant.

Officials expect it to be open by next Spring.
