Closing arguments set in Northampton County homicide trial
Closing arguments are taking place Monday in the homicide trial of a Northampton County woman and her boyfriend who are accused of orchestrating a robbery that resulted in the death of the woman's grandmother.
Seventy-six-year-old Carrie Smith had a heart attack following the January 2012 robbery at her Wilson Borough home.
She died two months later.
Her granddaughter Rebecca Johnson and boyfriend Rogel Suero are now on trial.
Both say they had nothing to do with the robbery.
