Connecticut man arrested in Northampton County road rage incident

A 46-year-old Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly throwing a water bottle into another vehicle during a road rage incident on I-78 in Northampton County.

State Police say Keith LaPointe, of Branford, Conn., was driving a tractor trailer on I-78 around 12:50 p.m. Sept. 5 when he initiated a road rage incident with another truck driver near mile marker 70 in Lower Saucon Township.

Police say LaPointe threw a plastic water bottle into the open passenger's side window of the other truck. He was stopped a short time later by state police.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police say LaPointe was charged with disorderly conduct.
