BUSHKILL TWP., Pa. -

One Northampton County family is thankful it got out of its burning house without any injuries.

The blaze broke out around 5 a.m. Thursday at 467 W. Moorestown Rd./Route 512 in Bushkill Township.

The fire started in a chimney and spread into the walls, officials said.

Several people who were displaced by the fire are being helped by the American Red Cross.

Route 512 is currently closed between Seifert and Bushkill Center roads while crews battle the blaze.
