ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Custodians in the Allentown School District have locked in three years of job security.

The district has reached a new contract agreement with its custodial staff.

The three-year deal includes a salary freeze. It also says the district can not lay off any of the current staff.

The district, however, can eliminate and out-source positions that become empty through retirement or resignation.
