EASTON, Pa. -

The defense is expected to get its turn Friday in the trial of a woman accused of planning a robbery that officials say ended in the death of her grandmother in Northampton County.

Rebecca Johnson and Rogel Suero are facing charges for the death of 76 year old Carrie Smith.

Prosecutors say Johnson paid her cousin to drive Suero and another man to her grandmother's home in Wilson and rob her.

Officials say Smith suffered a heart attack as a result of the robbery and died two months later.

Johnson and Suero both say they are innocent ... and the defense is expected to present its case Friday.
