It's a weekend dedicated to man's best friend.

Dogs have taken over the Agri-Plex Complex at Allentown Fairgrounds for the 37th Canine Learning Experience.

The annual event, presented by the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club, features 40 breed exhibits, 30 vender booths, demonstrations and things to buy.

Organizers say the goal is to get folks interacting with different types of pure bred dogs.

"The whole purpose of this type of event is so people can figure out what type of breed suits them," said Peter Benson of the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club.

The Canine Learning Experience continues Sunday with a match show.
