BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

Shoppers at a Northampton County strip mall had quite the scare when a car crashed into a store.

"We just heard a loud crash and the whole building actually shook and we looked outside and there was just, you know, a car into the building," one onlooker said.

It happened around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at a strip mall at 3859 Nazareth Pike in Bethlehem Township.

Police say the driver of the car hit the gas instead of the brake as he was trying to park.

Fortunately, the store is vacant right now so no one was inside at the time of the crash.

But people working nearby say they felt it all happen.

The driver was not hurt.
