Drug dealer busted during criminal mischief investigation, police say
A drug dealer was busted while police were in his neighborhood investigating a criminal mischief complaint, officials said.
Anthony J. Winger was found with marijuana, a scale, a grinder and baggies when police visited his apartment at 1143 Bushkill St., Easton, around 8 p.m. Friday, officials said.
Police had been called to investigate a complaint of criminal mischief in the area of 1145 Bushkill St., officials noted.
Winger admitted to selling drugs and that the marijuana and drug paraphernalia were his, officials added.
Winger, 39, was arraigned early Saturday morning on charges of drug possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and freed on $100,000 unsecured bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 18.
