LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. -

A traffic tie-up last month had an interesting cause.

An Allentown man was found unconscious in his car during rush hour, police said.

The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 18 on Route 378 at Seidersville Road in Lower Saucon Twp., Northampton Co.

Robert Mink had fallen asleep while waiting for the traffic light to turn green, police said.

A blood test, police said, indicated his blood alcohol content was .19 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Mink, of Allentown, was taken to the DUI processing center and charged with DUI and careless driving.
