BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A Lehigh Valley charter school has come up with a creative solution to save its kindergarten program.

Monday the Lehigh Valley Dual Language Charter School opened for a new school year in Bethlehem.

It was feared the school would have to shut down its kindergarten program after the school's board says it was denied a request to move its middle school to a second location.

The school has since relocated its administrative offices ensuring the kindergarten program has the space it needs to continue operating.

The school welcomed 50 kindergarten students Monday.
