Easton police: Cell phones robbed at gunpoint, knife-point

EASTON, Pa. -

Easton police say they are investigating a pair of armed robberies in which cell phones were stolen at gunpoint and knife-point.

The second of the robberies happened happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Davis Street. Police say a 42-year-old city resident was robbed of a cell phone by two men, one armed with a shotgun.

The first robbery happened around 11:30 Friday night. A 20-year-old city resident was also robbed by two men, one armed with a knife.

Police say the suspects in both incidents are black males. Police are not saying if they believe the suspects are the same for both incidents.
