Police warn of possible scams
EASTON, Pa. -

Easton police are sounding the alarm about some possible scam artists in the area.

Police say individuals identifying themselves as UGI workers were seen going door to door in the city on Saturday in the 700 block of Centre Street.

Officials say the workers had credentials, but have not confirmed what company they work for.

Police say if people you don't know come to your door -- be vigilant in what information you share with them.

Officials also warns residents not to allow anyone inside their home without proper identification.

If you see anyone suspicious in your neighborhood, call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about the incident Saturday is asked to call Detective Matthew Rush at 610-250-6639.
