Exotic dancer found in car with heroin in bra and drug paraphernalia on lap, police say
Courtney N. Dale arrested
A dancer at a strip club in Allentown was caught with heroin in her underwear and a cafeteria-style tray full of drug paraphernalia on her lap in a shopping mall parking lot in Northampton County, officials said.
Courtney N. Dale was spotted in a light blue 2007 Infiniti G35X outside the T.J. Maxx store at 3926 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem Township, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday by police patrolling the Walmart parking lot nearby, officials said.
Dale and a man in the driver's seat, later identified as Scott Pavkovic, were seen with trays in their lap, officials said, noting that Dale's held a hypodermic needle filled with liquid, empty wax baggies, a white cord, a spoon and a lighter.
A plastic bag with several syringes was in plain view on the passenger's side floor, officials noted.
When approached by police, Dale turned over two baggies of heroin stamped "100%" from inside her bra, officials said.
Dale told police she had moved to the area from Myrtle Beach, S.C., about a month ago and worked as a dancer at Platinum Plus, 1251 Airport Road, Allentown, officials said.
Dale, 22, who told police she has no current address, was arraigned on drug charges and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 13.
