WILSON, Pa. -

A garage was badly damaged and several cars destroyed by a fire in Northampton County.

The flames broke out around 1 a.m. Friday at 425 S. 20th St. in Wilson. A 69 News crew on the scene said flames could be spotted from more than a block away.

The blaze broke out in a detached garage and destroyed two cars, a pickup truck and at least three motorcycles stored inside.

Fire officials said a car in front of the garage suffered heat damage as did a neighbor's vehicle across the alley.

The fire was placed under control about 45 minutes later, and firefighters remained on the scene until around 4:30 a.m.

The fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
