Periods of rain will continue to affect the area this evening as the cold front slides through the region. The rain should quickly taper to a stray shower before completely coming to an end by 10 or 11 p.m. Rainfall totals will generally be around an inch from this event with some locally higher amounts possible.
Once the cold front passes, we will see the cloud cover gradually breaking up overnight along with windy conditions and lows in the middle 30s. Temperatures will drop back to the middle 40s on Sunday (which is still be about ten degrees above average), but a gusty northwesterly wind will make it feel cooler at times.
Partly sunny skies will be featured on both Sunday and Monday before more rain pushes back into the area by Monday night. Temperatures on Monday will remain on the mild side with highs holding in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
