Former diner owner sentenced for scamming $260,000 from elderly woman
2 others sentenced for their roles
A former owner of a Lehigh County diner and two others accused of scamming a 90-year-old woman out of thousands of dollars have learned their fate.
Chris Dimou -- who owned the former Emmaus Diner -- was sentenced Thursday to 12 to 23 months in prison.
Investigators say Dimou worked with Penny Veronikis and Barbara Paxos to steal $260,000 from Queen Hersh.
The judge sentenced Veronikis to two to 27 years.
Paxos received two years' probation.
The three were also ordered to pay restitution.
