BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

One of Bethlehem's high schools is closed Wednesday while crews make repairs.

According to a tweet from Bethlehem Area School District Superintendent Joseph Roy, Freedom High School is closed due to a burst sprinkler system pipe.

The school is located at 3149 Chester Ave. in Bethlehem.

The rest of the school district started two-hours late, with a modified kindergarten schedule.

Child care centers opened at 7 a.m.

Officials told 69News they plan to reopen to students on Thursday.
