HANOVER TWP., Pa. -

A man wanted on a warrant out of New Jersey was nabbed during a prostitution sting in Northampton County, officials said.

Emmanuel Alvarado was discovered to be a fugitive from justice after he was taken into custody for soliciting prostitution and marijuana possession at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Best Western, 300 Gateway Drive, Hanover Township, officials said.

A warrant for Alvarado was issued March 4 by the superior court in Passaic, N.J., after Alvarado failed to appear for hearing on a conspiracy charge, court papers show.

Alvarado, 28, of Long Branch, N.J., is awaiting extradition in the Northampton County Prison on $75,000 bail, according to court documents.
