Geraldo Rivera to appear at Lehigh Valley job fair
Event will be Jan. 21 at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem
Geraldo Rivera, host of the "Geraldo" radio show on WABC radio, will be the special guest at a “Putting the Lehigh Valley Back to Work” career fair between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 21 at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
Rivera will broadcast live from the event.
The job fair is being hosted by local Cumulus radio stations 100.7 WLEV and CAT Country 96, which are teaming up with Lehigh Carbon Community College's Center for Leadership & Workforce Development, Community Services Group and the Wescoe School at Muhlenberg College.
More than 40 of the Lehigh Valley’s top employers showcasing hundreds of job opportunities are confirmed to attend the job fair.
The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association will be featuring a special automotive career center.
Olympus, the U.S. Army, Sam Adams Brewery, LCTI, Primerica, Easton Coach Company, Country Meadows, Quandel Construction, ADDECCO and Allied Personnel Services also are joining efforts to highlight available jobs, training and educational opportunities available in the area.
Other employers include national companies, local businesses, non-profit organizations and staffing agencies.
The fair is the fourth hosted by Cumulus at the ArtsQuest Center.
The January 2013 event attracted more than 1,300 job seekers and more than 50 employers.
