Glenn J. Cain, holding gas can, threatens to torch neighbor's home police say
A man holding a gasoline can threatened to torch his neighbor's home and car, officials said.
Glenn J. Cain came out of his home at 1039 Ferry St., Easton, just before 5 p.m. Monday, threw something at the home of Miguel Cristal at 1038 Ferry St. and then got a gas can from his home and yelled that he would burn down Cristal's home and set his car on fire, officials said.
Court papers do not say why Cain was upset with his neighbor.
Cain was arrested after police viewed home security camera footage and a witness corroborated Cristal's claim that Cain had made the threats, officials said.
Cain, 47, was arraigned on charges of making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct and released on $5,000 unsecured bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. May 21.
