Gwendovic Genoa used brother's ID after being stopped for speeding, police say
Authorities are searching for a driver who got his brother in hot water with the law after using his sibling's ID when he was stopped for speeding in Northampton County last month , officials said.
A warrant was issued Thursday for Gwendovic Genoa, who identified himself as his brother Glendoneal Genoa when he was pulled over for traveling 76 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 22 in Bethlehem Township in his Jeep Liberty at 11:35 p.m. June 14, officials said.
Glendoneal Genoa contacted police on July 2 to tell them his brother had used his ID after being stopped, officials said.
Gwendovic Genoa, 35, of 505 Allen St., Allentown, will face charges of identity theft, not carrying a driver's license, driving with a suspended license, speeding and filing a false report, according to court documents.
