A man who stole a flat-screen TV from a home left it in the back seat of a SUV, officials said.

Jason J. Kociolek made off with the LG TV in a SUV at about 2:25 p.m. Saturday, after he broke into the the home of of Joshua and Valerie Molitorisz at 331 Main St., Freemansburg, Northampton Co., officials said.

When Kociolek got into the home by pushing in the side window air conditioner, the landlord, Philip Spinella, who lives nearby, went to investigate the loud bang he heard and saw a man with drive off in a Chevy SUV with a TV in the back seat, officials said.

Joshua Molitorisz told police Kociolek matched his landlord's description of the thief, officials said.

Kociolek was found at about 3 p.m. at 3051 Keystone St., Bethlehem Twp., Northampton Co., with the 2000 Chevy Blazer parked outside and the missing TV still in the back seat, officials said, adding that the SUV owner, Gary Toth, admitted driving Kociolek to the Molitorisz home.

Kociolek, 33, of 1552 Livingston St., Bethlehem, was arraigned on charges of burglary and theft and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. May 29.
