The former mayor of Bethlehem has a new gig with a local law firm.
John Callahan told 69 News that he has joined Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt & Fader LLC in Bethlehem.
Callahan will assist clients with government relations, real estate development and strategic planning.
"I'm very proud of my economic development record as mayor, and I look at this opportunity as a natural transition for me," Callahan said in a statement. "Coming from municipal government, I have a unique perspective on the challenges that businesses face and the tools available to help businesses grow."
Callahan was the mayor of Bethlehem for 10 years. He ran for Northampton County executive in 2013 and lost to Republican John Brown.
Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt & Fader has offices in Bethlehem, New Jersey and New York.
