ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A new report shows foreclosure rates are falling in the Lehigh Valley.

Real estate firm CoreLogic says the foreclosure rate in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area was 3.4% in January.

That's down almost a full percentage point from the same time last year, but it's higher than both the state and national rates.

The foreclosure rate in Pennsylvania is 2.35% and the national rate is 1.97%.

CoreLogic also says the Lehigh Valley delinquency rate is 7.3%, which is also down from last year.
