A Bethlehem man accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a water rescue group is heading to trial.

Marvin McCammon waived his preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

McCammon is accused of stealing nearly $30,000 from Pennsylvania Water Rescue when he served as the group's president.

It's the second time he is facing theft charges.

His wife --Jacqueline Lilly-McCammon -- was set to be Bethlehem's first female fire chief, but took herself out of the running earlier this year.

Her attorney says she had no idea what her husband was up to.
