BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

An Allentown man in his late 60s is facing charges for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl he was pulling in a plastic toy wagon four months ago.

Juan Rojo-Rojas was seen by a witness with his hand on the girl's thigh, after he had pulled her in her wagon behind a plant in the rear yard of a home in the 2100 block of Boyd Street in Bethlehem on Aug. 25, officials said.

Rojo-Rojas left when he saw the witness, who took the girl into the home, where the girl told the witness that Rojo-Rojas improperly touched her over her clothing.

The girl was interviewed by the Northampton County District Attorney's office on Oct. 21 and told investigators about the assault, saying Rojo-Rojas stopped after her mother intervened, officials said.

Rojo-Rojas, 68, of 816 South 10th St., Allentown, was arraigned Friday afternoon on charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors and committed to Northampton County Prison on $15,000 bail.
