BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A man withdrew money from one sister's bank account after he had made an illegal deposit with a check he stole from another sister, officials said.

Robert A. Roth deposited a $60 check he forged into a KNBT bank account of his sister, Stephanie Roth, officials said.

To make the deposit, Robert Roth stole a blank check from another sister, Amanda Roth, officials added.

After making the deposit, Robert Roth then withdrew $50 in cash from Stephanie Roth's account, officials said, noting that Robert Roth also had stolen Stephanie's KNBT bank check card.

Robert Roth, 24, of 816 Radclyffe St., Bethlehem, was arraigned Friday afternoon on charges of forgery, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property and released on unsecured bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. July 19.
