Man shot in Allentown Tuesday afternoon
Injury described as very minor
An unidentified 19-year-old male was shot about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Russell Street in Allentown.
Assistant Police Chief Daniel Warg said the young man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was shot in the buttocks. Warg called it a very minor injury and expected the victim to be released from the hospital Tuesday.
Police are continuing their investigation. No suspects were in in custody late Tuesday afternoon.
Russell Street is an alley between Turner and Chew streets.
