A man visiting two women waved a large sword and threatened to "get" them during an argument last week, officials said.

Michael Ayala was in the home of Tabitha and Sherrie Mowrey at 808 Pine St., Easton, at about 8:15 p.m. May 10 when he started waving the sword "in a violent fashion," officials said.

Ayala, 42, of 20 North 9th St., Easton, was arraigned Thursday night on charges of making terroristic threats, assault and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $5,000 bail, according to court documents.
