CATASAUQUA, Pa. -

The American Red Cross Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter says they are assisting a total of 23 people who were displaced Thursday by a multi-level fire at Front and Race Streets in Catasauqua.

The fire was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m.

The first pictures from the scene showed smoke pouring from the top floor of a 4-story apartment building.

There were no immediate report of injuries.

The Red Cross said they provided lodging and food for 4 individuals, along with snacks, drinks and comfort kits for everyone who was displaced. The Red Cross said the owner of the building provided alternative housing for those needed it.
