A Bethlehem man is facing charges after police say he assaulted his girlfriend on two separate occasions.
Nicholas Binczak, 19, has been charge with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and reckless endangerment.
Binczak's girlfriend says she was first assaulted on Sunday, February 23rd, inside Binczak's apartment on E. 6th Street.
She says they were arguing when Binczak grabbed her by the arm and threw her into a wall and over a bed. Then, she says he choked her and bit her cheek as she tried to leave.
Two days later, the alleged victim says she was assaulted again. She says Binczak grabbed her by the hair and pulled her onto the sofa, where he injured her wrist. She says he grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened her, before saying she "wasn't worth it".
Binczak was released after posting 10% of $10,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 7th.
