Pedestrian hit by car near Fogelsville shopping center

FOGELSVILLE, Pa. -

A 48-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car near a busy shopping area in western Lehigh County.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Christopher Bosnyak, of Hamden, Conn., was crossing the entrance of 7720 Main St., in Fogelsville, but not in the intersection, when he was hit by a car driven by Andrew Pollock, police said.

Pollock, 23, of Allentown, was not hurt.

Bosnyak was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, but police had no information about the extent of his injuries.
