Pedro Garcia-Ayala of Bethlehem charged with 2 stabbings in upstate NY
Man extradited in case involving his estranged wife and her boyfriend
Authorities say a Bethlehem man has been brought back to upstate New York where he's charged in connection with the stabbing of his estranged wife and her boyfriend last month.
The Sun and Press-Bulletin of Binghamton reports that police from the village of Endicott went to Bethlehem earlier this week to extradite 35-year-old Pedro Garcia-Ayala.
Authorities say he entered an Endicott apartment early on the morning of March 27 and stabbed his wife and her boyfriend multiple times while they slept.
Garcia-Ayala was originally arrested in Bethlehem on April 9 and charged with burglary. He was brought back to Broome County Thursday and is being held without bail in the local jail.
It couldn't be determined if he had a lawyer.
