Police said a distinctive jacket helped identify a man accused of stealing DVDs from Sam's Club on three separate days.
According to court documents, a man wearing a dark green jacket with two white stripes down each side was seen on surveillance video entering the store at 901 Airport Center Drive in Hanover Twp., Lehigh Co., on Jan. 10 around 11:20 a.m.
He then proceeded to leave the store with seven DVDs, valued at around $120.
On Jan. 22 around 10 a.m., the same man, wearing the same jacket, entered the store and left with 18 DVDs, totaling approximately $466.
Again on Jan. 28, around 8:30 a.m., the same man, with the same jacket, left the store with seven DVDs, totaling $146.
After filing reports on each of the three incidents, Sam's Club management notified police on Sunday around noon that the man in the previous incidents was inside the store, according to documents.
When police arrived, the man -- identified as 22-year-old Kevin Richard Reinert of 2080 Whitehall Avenue in Allentown -- was wearing the same jacket as seen in the previous three surveillance videos.
Reinert was arrested and charged with retail theft.
According to the documents, Reinert pleaded guilty to a retail theft that occurred on April 11, 2013 and was also charged with a retail theft on May 6, 2013.
