Police in Easton are looking into a stabbing that left one person in the hospital.

It happened a little after 6 a.m. Thursday in the area of 12th and Ferry streets.

Police say the 39-year-old male victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for multiple stab wounds.

Police say they do not think the injuries are life threatening.

The suspect is described as a white man who fled north on Cherry St. after the stabbing.
