UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. -

Some lucky travelers in Lehigh County are most likely thanking their stars after an accident which could have been ghastly ends with no fatalities.

Police say around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, a tractor trailer travelling south on Route 100 in Upper Macungie Twp. tried to turn right onto westbound Schantz Road.

The load in the trailer shifted and the trailer overturned into the eastbound lane on top of a car.

The impact pushed the car into another truck as the trailer continued to slide on the ground. Amazingly no one was hurt.

Schantz Road was closed from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

The accident is still under investigation..
