Reinaldo Rivera Jr. severely beat another in Bethlehem
A man severely injured another man after an argument between them turned physical.
Reinaldo Rivera Jr. fractured the face of Bruno Amador by knocking him to the ground and then jumping on him and striking him several times in a home at 1630 Hastings Road, Bethlehem, at about 4 a.m. Saturday, officials said.
Amador was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, which required stitches.
Court papers do not say why the two men were arguing.
Rivera, 31, of 3117 East Boulevard, Bethlehem, was arraigned Sunday on charges of aggravated and simple assault and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $75,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 28.
