Riders take to the road in the Bicycling Fall Classic

More than 1200 cyclists took over the roads in the Lehigh Valley Sunday.

Riders challenged themselves with 10, 25, 50 and 90 mile bike rides as part of the Bicycling Fall Classic, sponsored by Rodale's Bicycling magazine.

The event was started two years ago and organizers say each year participation has grown by 50-percent.

The fall classic was not a race but cyclists did need to register to take part in the rides on routes through Eastern Pennsylvania’s forests, farms and rolling hills.
