Robert Tanco flees cops after hitting woman, breaking window with his fist, police say
A man tried to run from police after he hit his girlfriend and smashed a window with his fist, officials said.
Robert R. Tanco was nabbed soon after he had grabbed the mother of his child by the hair, smacked her in the face two or three times and then punched out a first-floor living room window of their home in the 300 block of State Street in Bethlehem around 3:10 p.m. Thursday, officials said.
Tanco, 24, was charged with assault and harassment and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $2,500 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. July 26.
