Police in Allentown are investigating after they say shots were fired at a New Year's Eve party.

It happened in the 1100 block of South Tenth Street around 1 a.m. Wednesday

Police said several fights broke out at the party after people showed up who weren't invited.

When police arrived on the scene, they said they found evident of a shooting, but no victim.

Officers say no one was injured in the fights or the shooting.

Police say they have a suspect in custody and are interviewing him to find out his role in the incident.
